Allan Chan #ISTJ
Design / Art Direction with Rock & Love
A graduate of the Tokyo Design Academy (東京デザイン専門学校), Allan Chan is a multi-disciplinary designer with a deep-rooted passion for Japanese aesthetics and global culture. With a career spanning over a decade, Allan has been a creative force behind some of Hong Kong’s most iconic event campaigns, including the Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival and the Hong Kong Cyclothon.
His design philosophy is shaped by his love for travel and the arts—drawing inspiration from global galleries and the rhythmic energy of UK band music. This blend of international perspective and technical precision allows him to transform complex brand requirements into compelling visual stories, from digital motion design to large-scale OOH installations.
Design Philosophy
My philosophy is rooted in the balance of Japanese precision and global modernism. Having trained in Tokyo, I believe that great design is found in the details—stripping away the unnecessary to let the core message resonate. I strive to create visual stories that are as culturally resonant as they are commercially impactful.
